What does July do with user data?
What does July do with user data?

The information that July stores from Google is as follows:

• Your Gmail email address
• The 10 most recent videos on your YouTube channel
• Analytics for Gender, Age, and Geography related to your YouTube channel

Your Gmail address is stored in order to be able to communicate with the Gmail API so you can send brand outreach pitches from within the July app.

Any YouTube data stored is used to display channel information on your Media Kit. A Media Kit is like a resume for content creators, displaying stats about their audience in order to inform brands who may be interested in partnering.

How does July enhance user functionality?
How does July enhance user functionality?

July uses Google OAuth to securely link your existing Gmail account to your July account. After linking your Gmail account, you will be able to directly contact brands using your existing email address to easily secure partnerships.

By linking your Gmail account to your July account you will be able to spend more time creating content, and less time managing your brand relationships.

July also uses Google OAuth to securely link your existing YouTube channels to your July account. After linking your YouTube channels, you will be able to generate an automatically updating Media Kit that you can share with brands.

By linking your YouTube channel to your July account you will no longer have to take screenshots of your YouTube analytics dashboard to share with brands. Instead, you can share your July Media Kit link directly. This will save you time and allow you to put your best foot forward when closing deals.
